NN/LM MCR Hospital Advocacy Questionnaire

posted Feb 14, 2011, 8:17 AM by Icon Library
The NN/LM MCR Advocacy program is concerned about the reductions in the number of hospital libraries and their resources in this Region.  We strongly believe that the hospital librarian plays a  positive role in providing necessary health information.  We are working to understand factors that influence the decision to support or close a hospital library so we can develop resources to advocate for hospital librarians and libraries.
We have developed a short questionnaire to assess the well-being of hospital libraries in our region.  We are asking all hospital library directors to complete the questionnaire.  If you are the library director for your hospital, please go to the following url - http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/hospitaladvocacy - and take a few minutes to let us know about your library.  This is an opportunity for you to let us know what is happening in your environment.
All responses to these questions will remain confidential.  If information provided in the questionnaire indicates either success or risk, either the Library Advocacy Liaison or your State Liaison will contact you to discuss your responses.  A summary of the responses will be published in Plains to Peaks Post.
Thanks for your help!
