Joy Winkler, librarian at Alegent Health Immanuel Medical Center, was honored on May 11th as one of six High Impact Performers in Alegent’s Information Systems Department.

The System-wide honor awards high productivity, excellent customer service skills, good interpersonal skills, and being a role model for others. It also takes into consideration someone who is an innovative contributor, flexible, willing to take on extra responsibilities, and who furthers Alegent Health's strategic plan. Accompanying the award was a check for $1,000 (after taxes).

Joy continues her heavy involvement in the design, rollout and training for Alegent’s internet and intranet sites, which includes travel to many work sites and long hours in the middle of the night to get to all shifts. And she still finds time to keep the library ship shape and provide all services.
