A Message from the Senior Executive Board Member

 

            ICON Spring meeting 2005 in Lincoln brought together folks from Hastings, Lincoln, and the Omaha area. Networking within such a broad geographic area was a welcome opportunity, and the tour of the newly renovated facilities at BryanLGH College of Health Sciences was a plus. Weather was perfect. I wish all of you could have been with us.

 

            We will discuss several important agenda items at our June 10th meeting:

 

                        Scholarship for continuing education credit – specifics of application.

 

                        Committee membership – opportunities to become involved, stay involved, or disengage. 

 

                        Election of 2006 Executive Board Members – broaden candidate pool.

 

                        MCMLA 2007 – Teri & Jim want you!

 

                        Host sites for 2006 ICON Quarterly meetings – do you have a new area to delight us?

 

                        Mini MLA – bring a memory of something that highlighted the conference for you.

 

                        News Corner News – time to celebrate accomplishments.

 

Ken Oyer is hosting our Summer meeting at Alegent Bergan Mercy Hospital on June 10th. We’ll be able to view part of Bergan’s major construction/renovation project.
