John Moritz Library -- Open At Our New Location!
John Moritz Library, now located on the new Nebraska Methodist College -- the Josie Harper Campus in Omaha, NE, is open to provide services and resources. The central role of John Moritz Library is to support the teaching, learning, and research of students and faculty in health care education at Nebraska Methodist College. It is the goal of John Moritz Library to ensure that the information needs of students, faculty, and other library users within Methodist Health System are satisfied through a current collection of library materials and quality library services. Through a commitment to the core values of learning, excellence, caring, respect, and holism, the library seeks to ensure academic and service excellence.
John Moritz Library offers a combination of both traditional and electronic resources that support student achievement and lifelong learning. Professional library staff and student employees are available for assistance within the user-friendly, service-oriented environment of John Moritz Library. The newly constructed John Moritz Library is an inviting, student-centered facility that accommodates both individual and group study. A spacious lounge area is located in front of the entrance of John Moritz Library. Adjacent to the library are eight private and small-group study rooms equipped with DVD/VCR players and computers.
Access to library information is available 24 hours per day/seven days a week through the web site. Visit www.methodistcollege.edu/library for information on hours, services, searching assistance, links to the online catalog (H.E.A.R.T.), databases, full-text journals, copyright information, consumer health services, and more. The Library is located on the second floor of the Clark Center on the new Josie Harper Campus.
