Welcome to ICON 2006! We are looking forward to a great year, full of professional growth. And yes, one year closer to the magnificent Omaha 2007 MCMLA/Midwest Joint Chapter Meeting! Congratulations to Jeanne Burke, elected Freshman Member during the December 2005 meeting elections. It isn't too soon to think about putting your name in for 2006 elections - they will be here before you know it!
Please send your news to add to the News Corner. We want to continue this method of keeping up with each other's accomplishments and life changes.
Our first meeting is scheduled for March 17, 2006 at 2:00 pm, hosted at the brand new John Moritz Library at the Nebraska Methodist College - the Josie Harper Campus. The speaker: Librarian of the Year, Rivkah Sass! Don't miss this meeting! A message follows below from Angie Arner, welcoming us and giving directions.

Fall Meeting: September 15
Holiday meeting: December 8, at McGoogan Library of Medicine.
Please take a look at the December 2005 minutes before you come to the meeting. We will be voting on them first thing.

Hello everyone,
We are excited to host the Spring ICON meeting on the new Nebraska Methodist College ? the Josie Harper Campus. Our address is 720 N. 87th Street (located two blocks north, as your travel west on West Dodge Road). Ample parking is available, since that is Spring Break for the College. Our meeting will be held in the Clark Center, Room 2249 (on second floor). We hope you will stop in to see our new library facilities, while you are on campus. Since opening in January, it has been a very popular place for our College students, faculty, staff and employees of Methodist Health System.
